Match Winner
Which team will win — this is the simplest market. T20 and ODI matches have only two possible outcomes. Example: a ৳1,000 bet on Team A winning returns a set amount if Team A wins.

T20 ODIDecimal, Fractional and American — three types of odds
Odds are written in three different ways. The numbers look different but they all express the same probability.
Example 1 — Bet on Team A to win, stake ৳1,000
Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150 — all three mean the same thing. If the bet wins, return is ৳2,500 (৳1,500 profit + ৳1,000 original stake). If the bet loses, the full ৳1,000 is gone.
Example 2 — Bet on favourite Team B to win, stake ৳1,000
Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. American minus odds show how much you need to stake to win ৳100. A ৳1,000 bet returns ৳1,800 (৳800 profit).
The decimal format is the easiest to understand — just multiply the odds by your stake to get the total return. The fractional format is traditionally more common in the UK and shows only the profit.
Multi Bet Example — 3 selections combined
If three selections have decimal odds of 1.60, 1.80 and 1.90 respectively, the combined odds are 1.60 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.47 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳547 if all three are correct. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
Cricket Match Winner — Limited-Overs Example
There is no draw in T20 or ODI. Team A at odds 1.80, Team B at odds 2.00 — a ৳1,000 bet on Team B returns ৳2,000 (৳1,000 profit) if Team B wins; if Team A wins, the full ৳1,000 is lost.
In-play betting while the match is on
Live or in-play betting means you can place bets even after a match has started. In cricket, odds shift with every over and every wicket.
For example, in a T20, if Team A reaches 80 runs in 10 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, their odds may shorten as they look more likely to win. On the other hand, if wickets start falling quickly, the odds shift fast and the opposing team's market becomes active.
In ODI, in-play betting runs over a longer period. Once fielding restrictions are lifted after the powerplay, the scoring rate can change, which has a direct effect on live markets. In Test matches, pitch conditions and changes in light are also taken into account.
Live betting gives you the chance to make quick decisions, but it is for entertainment — not a reliable source of income. It is important to follow the responsible gaming policy.
Good habits for cricket betting
- Understand the format before betting. A team that performs well in T20 may not be as strong in ODI or Test cricket. Each format has its own characteristics, and choosing markets accordingly is the sensible approach.
